Well…guess its quite a ‘black’ weekend for me though. I was so looking forward for the weekend. I even told Kiaki through MSN that I am so looking forward to all the things that I wanted to do during the weekend. Was planning to go Miri on Sunday to do some shopping and also getting something different to eat.

 

Things happened. I was doing my morning inspection at my workplace. Everything goes well….the usual things happened and was being solved. Johnson was helping me out the usual. Then guess I had stepped on a bad foot or what. I twisted my ankle. Oh foot….I was squirming in pain and was hoping it would just go away but then it turned out to be more ‘intense’. Upon doing inspection on my foot, I was shocked that it had blown up to be like a pig leg. Damn…lol…I was laughing. It might sound I had gone bonkers but then its true. I was laughing. Wahahahahah! Then called Ming to send me to see a doctor. Then turned out all the eastern doctors (中医) had went to ‘sau mu’. (x.x)” To no avail, we decided to go to Miri to find a good eastern doctor. Ming wanted to let someone see his back cause he had been having quite some troubles with it. So its more of a last minute trip. Then off we go to  Miri together with another friend who knew where to look for the doctor. Upon arrival, I had quite a pain with my ankle. Can’t really walk though. Then the doctor there was doing some twists and turn to my ankle. It was really intense. Lol…They took a video of me when I was in pain. I’m still thinking of whether to post it or not. Wakakakakaka! After all those twists and turns, the doctor there put on some eastern medicine and ask us to come back after two hours. Woohooo! I tell you…is burning my skin like hell but I pity Ming even more. He was like no mood already. The medicine was like a ‘fun sucker’. Suck all the fun out of him. Lol…

 

Right now I’m resting and try not to walk too much. Damn…there goes my weekend. However its good too. My feet can get some rest. Hahahah!

Oh My Dinner

 

Oh well…tonight I have no idea on what to eat as I guess the fridge is kind of bare. Mom haven’t go for shopping. There are so many ingredients popping around my head on what to cook. Hmmm….then I saw it. In the freezer there is a packet of scallops. Yum yum….but then hor….I need to think on how to cook them. So I looked around the fridge for suitable stuffs to cook my filling dinner. To my despair, there’s no tomato…so making an omelet is out of the question. So then I decided to do something just based on whatever I felt comfortable. Hahahaha! I won’t die or have a bad stomachache after I tried my own cooking. Lol….At first I cooked them in butter in a frying pan. Then transferred it to a metal plate where I even pour some of the butter left on the pan to the plate. A little bit of pepper, beat 2 eggs, add a bit of milk and then a couple dash of Tabasco. You know what…I love Tabasco. Yum Yum….after all that I just pop them into an oven to have it cooked. Hehehehe! Few minutes later…..dum di dum di dum…..and voila….its cooked. I eat it together with carrot bread. Oooo….I tell you hor. The carrot bread is very good. Kind of satisfying right now.

Another Day

Today’s the weather is not considered to be as good as other days. Occasionally it would have showers and then suddenly the big sun would smile for us after that. As far as I can remember, I love to do a bit of discussion topics where I would argue with myself regarding certain matters. It’s kind of fun and I enjoyed it once in a while. That was the time when I was still attending university. Maybe I have certain extra time on hand and I could afford to do it. I’ve been working for the past 2 years and there are lot of things that require careful learning and also evaluation. There and then my time for doing something that I like becomes constricted. Working for 10 hours a day excluding a 1 hour lunch break for 6 days a week is kind of taking a toll on me. During the middle of last year and on, I felt like I’m spending a huge lump of my time in the office more than I do at home. Well, there were some sayings that try to do more when you are young. I understand this concept but then sometimes it’s just human nature where complaining is one of the way in easing the mind.

Come to think about it…where have all my dear friends had been gone to? During schooling days, we were all very close and tend to hang out most of the time. Right now everyone had their own role in the society. Things that they want to pursue and life that they want to live. Other than missing them sometimes, we might as well wish them all the best and hopefully when we do meet up, we might be looking forward to that very moment that they would still remember who we were. There was one time where I met a friend by the escalator in a shopping mall. At that time it was really hilarious. Straight off he started to talk to me and saying how long had it been since we last met. I was damn curious and shocked at the same time. My palms are sweating, my brain is working overdrive to search for a person by that look and at the same time while maintaining the conversation, I was working background trying to figure things out. Hahahaha! Why you ask? Well it’s because I have no recall of who he was. Forgetting the name is one thing but then having no memory or whatsoever regarding his looks is the worst. At that time things were in a rush and we just say a 1) Hi, followed by 2) how have you been, then 3) bye…see you around. I was thinking very hard on who he was. I regret not asking his name again. After long deep thoughts, it’s not shameful to ask your friend’s name once again if you had already forgotten it. Even though it might sound strange but then at least you are honest with yourself.

I somehow agree to some of things being written in a blog because it’s basically quite true. However I might want to have a version of mine. Let’s see… when we were all getting along during primary school or maybe kindergarten, it was just pure bliss on how friendship can be so beautiful. However when we all get older, people tend to change. Their taste change, their attitude turned for the best or worst, who knows…and so on and so forth. However despite all these differences, we can still be friends right? Hmmm….as for me I might be standing in a grey area. I do not feel like touching that area of discussion as it’s just too much to day, I guess. Different people have different opinions.

Something To Ponder About.

Hmmm….I’ve always been wondering how writers get their inspiration in writing their own novels or their own masterpieces. Guess it all comes down to their environment or sometimes something just came up when they see or feel something. I think this is some what similar to the human body’s memory bank. Why do I say that? Well visualize this…there was this fragrant smell such as a perfume that you had liked and you had smelled this countless times. Then you had not smelled this smell for a long long time and then suddenly out of nowhere, that familiar smell came up. Suddenly your brain might trigger the image and the feelings that you once had when you were picking up the scent of that familiar smell. Why do I say that? Well visualize this…there was this fragrant smell such as a perfume that you had liked and you had smelled this countless times. Then you had not smelled this smell for a long long time and then suddenly out of nowhere, that familiar smell came up. Suddenly your brain might trigger the image and the feelings that you once had when you were picking up the scent of that familiar smell. This is just my version of how sometimes things are being recalled back that had happened so long ago but then was being kept at the back of the mind

Let’s move on to other things. Last evening, I had tea with two good brothers. I mean time could really change and mature some but not all of people’s thought and also their perspective regarding life. There were many topics that were being involved in that tea-drinking session. I would agree to most of the arguments being made. This is something like a debate here. Marriage, work ethics, principles and world economy were some of the things that was being said. The main topic that was being discussed was regarding marriage. Well this year most of my friends are getting married. From the beginning of the year till the end. Well…guess it time for some of them. As a matter of fact there’s no harm in learning something new everyday. Hahahaha! Just to have certain preparation for myself before I really decided to tie the knot together with my ‘unknown’ other half yet. Lol!

Marriage

This is something that a big percentage of us would require to go through. Guess its one of the way of life. One might think that why should it be a requirement. Well till now I had no idea. Guess it should be something concerning human passing down generation kind of thing. Getting married is not an easy task to do so. It involves lots of planning, budgeting and all other skills that is required to make it a great success. One might say that it is a once in a life thing but then this might not apply to some though. Getting photos taken, planning out for who to invite and how the logistics of all these things should be done in order to the whole thing to fall into place and hopes nothing would go wrong during the actual day. Phew….!! Just talking about it would require some time for me to finish all of it. As for Chinese community, we would require to pick out a good date that is meant for both the bride and the groom to get married. It is like a traditional custom and guess its in our blood. Some might say that it is superstitious but however there will be some time that we would blame it on superstition once if something was wrong. So I’ll just say let’s not risk it. Hai….look at the movies where when they want to get married, it is just so easy for them. However this is the real life and nothing is as easy as it seems. Most of it require hard work and dedication for all of it to come into place. Getting married is also considered one of the important knowledge in life. One require dedication and getting ready to get married. When one was single, all he or she need to think about it themselves and also their family. However right now…its more than that. Both the husband and wife are required to work hand in hand to a common goal in order for it to make anything happen. A person perspective in life during marriage changed so much that it is a must to do it. You loose some you gain some. No one is being able to win them all.
